(1918 – 1986) educator, social justice activist and artist, working primarily with silkscreen. She created many iconic silkscreen designs for album covers, posters and murals, carrying messages of love and peace. Sister Corita Kent designed the 1985 “Love” stamp, one of the top selling postage stamps in history.
